The visit aimed to discuss scientific collaboration frameworks and find the best scientific methods to enhance beekeeping practices. The focus included secure pesticide usage to reduce damages to bee colonies. The discussions also addressed the use of biopesticides to control wax moth infestations, which cause significant harm to beekeepers and their hives, emphasizing the need to minimize the use of chemical pesticides that may negatively impact human health.

Following the directives of the esteemed Dean, Dr. Hakeem Sultan Abdul-Rahabi, and under the supervision of Dr. Naseer Faheem Yasir, the Administrative Assistant to the Dean, the college aims to contribute to reforesting the university gardens. The college is eager to establish collaborations with other colleges, government departments, and schools across the province to increase green areas with different types of tree and shrub seedlings as part of the project. The College of Agriculture has commenced its agricultural production plan as part of preparations for the upcoming academic year. This includes the establishment and preparation of plastic greenhouses within the college. Dean Dr. Hakeem Sultan Abdul-Rahabi highlighted the significance of this plan, emphasizing the university’s role as a productive institution. Five plastic greenhouses have been set up for cultivating various vegetable crops, along with planting different types of roses and ornamental plants inside the wooden shade. The implementation of this plan is carried out directly by the college’s engineers under the direct supervision of the execution committee led by Administrative Assistant Dr. Naseer Fahiem Yasir Al-Zamili.
