1. Completing application procedures for new admissions to the Master’s program in Soil Science and Water Resources for each academic year.
  2. Reviewing acceptance forms for admitted students.
  3. Providing employed students with endorsement letters to their respective departments along with the acceptance list.
  4. Opening individual files for each accepted student.
  5. Providing graduate students with endorsements for academic leave purposes and monitoring them.
  6. Providing students with endorsements for continuing their studies throughout their academic period and endorsing them for library access to facilitate research information retrieval during the writing phase.
  7. Organizing and maintaining academic records for students applying for study extensions.
  8. Providing graduating students with transcripts and grade documents (in both Arabic and English), attesting them by the university, and issuing wall charts (in both Arabic and English).
  9. Transferring and forwarding messages for students who have completed their research and theses to the electronic plagiarism committee, then to the linguistic and scientific evaluators to prepare for the defense.
  10. Forming examination committees for students, along with creating lists for professors’ remuneration.
  11. Obtaining approvals for the approval of thesis titles and dissertations, as well as changing titles during the research writing phase, along with issuing supervisor endorsements.
  12. Monitoring students’ academic leaves and following up on payment receipts for private expense students.
  13. Responding to correspondence received by the division (inquiries, opinions, student deferral, warning letters, committee formations, calculating the minimum period for students).
  14. Compiling statistics for all master’s students (specialization, gender, graduation year) and uploading them in CD format or Excel sheets, establishing a database for students, and monitoring the department regarding master’s students.
  15. Issuing administrative orders (for acceptance and initiation) for students who have received university acceptance orders for Master’s studies in our college.
  16. Issuing administrative orders for overseeing graduate students.
  17. Issuing administrative orders to assign lecturers to teach graduate students for both the spring and fall semesters.
  18. Issuing examination schedules for Master’s students and sending them to the University of Wasit Presidency/Graduate Studies Department.
