The Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division is structurally and administratively linked to the College Dean, and technically to the Quality Assurance Department in the University Presidency. The division consists of the Quality Assurance Unit, the Laboratory Accreditation Unit, and the Performance Evaluation Unit.

The tasks and functional description of the Quality Assurance Division can be outlined as follows:

  1. Performance Evaluation: Assessing the college’s performance and its educational programs, preparing an institutional performance evaluation report, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and proposing necessary recommendations for enhancing and improving the college’s performance. This is a step towards obtaining academic accreditation that enhances the quality of the educational process in the college.
  2. Monitoring Quality Assurance Programs: Overseeing the implementation of quality assurance and performance evaluation programs for the college, monitoring compliance with regulations and instructions during implementation.
  3. Continuous Communication: Maintaining continuous communication with the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Department at the University of Wasit to stay updated on all developments and directives received from the ministry.
  4. Collaboration with Parallel Divisions: Collaborating with corresponding divisions in other colleges within the university to enhance mutual benefits through the exchange of experiences.
  5. Participation in Local Seminars and Workshops: Participating in local seminars and both electronic and in-person workshops related to quality assurance to strengthen and develop the quality of the college’s performance.
